Benton County Historical Museum
Come enjoy the newly remodeled and expanded Benton County Museum at 1660 Hilltop Drive, Warsaw across from Farmers Bank. The Benton County Historical Society has created an appealing setting for the county’s collection of artifacts demonstrating our rich cultural history and heritage.
Benton County Museum is truly fun for all ages. Our rich history comes alive, allowing you to experience what was like to ride the rivers with our extensive steamboat history section. Visit the 1800’s in our parlor, school, shops and more. Learn about our countries military history through the clothes and keepsakes of our fighting men and women.
At the Benton County Museum, you can relive America’s history on our historic timeline from 1835 to 1985. Admission: free to members of the Benton County Historical Society; Adults, $3; Seniors, $2; Ages 4-12, $2. Open May 1 through October 2026, Friday and Saturday, 10 AM to 4 PM and Sundays 1 PM – 4 PM.

The Cole Camp Museum, located at 107 N Main Street in Cole Camp, highlights the town’s early German heritage and local Civil War history. It features a battle diorama, artifacts from early settlers—including the 1830s German immigration—and artifacts honoring local veterans. It is open seasonally in May and June.
