Don’t miss your chance to have an amazing experience with new and old friends in a wet and wild environment. Join your guides as they venture out onto the protected wetlands in Warsaw. \n​ \nNo experience is necessary. Our guides and sit-on-top rental kayaks are designed for beginner and experienced paddlers alike and basic instruction is provided with every tour. We will be leaving the Warsaw Adventures’ kayak launch at the listed event time so it is advised you show up a little early to apply bug spray and prepare your provided gear and lifejackets.

SUMMARY:Father's Day Paint a Crankbait and Go Fishing
DESCRIPTION:The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will offer a free Father’s Day program from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday\, June 18\, at Lost Valley Hatchery in Warsaw\, Mo.  Participants will have the opportunity to custom paint a plastic crankbait\, add 3-D eyes\, and tackle.  All materials will be provided for the crankbaits.  Participants will also get to go fishing in the Education Pond just outside the hatchery building.  Fishing equipment and bait will be provided.  Participants are welcome to bring their own fishing gear and bait. However\, no bait that is carried in water is allowed to prevent the introduction of invasive species.  This event is catch-and-release only.  The pond is stocked with Channel Catfish and Hybrid Sunfish.  \nRegistration is required online at Events | Missouri Department of Conservation (s3licensing.com).  Please be sure to register each person in your group separately.  Class size is limited to 20 participants.  All children must be accompanied by an adult. \nFamilies now have the option to link their children’s accounts to their own accounts\, which will streamline the program registration process.  Once a group account is set up\, parents can register their children to an event without having to log-off and log-in for each individual.
