Wildlife you may catch a glimpse of during your stay here at Deer Rest Campground: deer, squirrels, geese, eagles; sometimes even pelicans! Life-time residents of Warsaw, MO and new owners of Deer Rest Campground.  We decided to purchase this beautiful campground from the Hirsch family after we served as campground hosts for 10 years.  We fell in love with the property and have always dreamed of owning our own business one day.  This was the perfect opportunity and we are excited to share the awe and beauty of this property with you, our guests.  We have completed the expansion of adding 46 additional full hook-up campsites,  and opening a store on the grounds next to the campground office. Sites Available:
Basic (water & electric only) $35/night.
Full Hook-up (water, electric, & sewer) $40/night.
Primitive tent sites $20/night.

Seasonal Information:  The campground closes on November 15 and re-opens on March 1,  shower house available from March 15-November 15.

Area Activities: Boating, water sports, hiking, picnicking, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, fishing, and of course shopping!  The Warsaw area has plenty of antique shops to check out.

Facilities:  Store coming soon (there are  near-by convenience stores), pets on leash allowed in most areas,  clean shower facilities & restrooms.

Just minutes from Drake Harbor & Truman Lake. Local attractions of interest are The Lost Valley Fish Hatchery and Harry S. Truman Overlook & Visitors Center.
